Journal Neglect.

I have been neglecting the journal again.
Bad me.

Everything has been going as well as can be expected. Went to see The Village this weekend with unsigned and mxlplx. If you haven't seen it already, you may want to wait until it's in the dollar theaters. If you can avoid having the 'twists' ruined by the time it makes it's way to a dollar theater. It's not a bad movie, but it has it's faults. I still liked it, though.

I also went to see Troy at the cheapy-cheap-dollar theater with unsigned yesterday. Yes, I know it's a horrible horrible sham that shouldn't even have the words 'loosely based on' attached to it. If you actually want to read the real thing you can follow my link. But it was still fun to watch.

There's some other stuff that I could probably babble on about from last week, but i'll save that for another entry (if I remember to write about it later, that is).
Time to go back to work.

How depressing.

Halle Berry is going to be playing the role of Janie in Their Eyes Were Watching God

I read that book, and absolutely loved it, and for the life of me I can't see her playing the part at all.
Maybe the acting fairy will hit her with a magic acting 2 x 4, and she'll get the part right. One can only hope.
And I was happy when I first heard they were making this into a film. :(
