-- Rob Vaux, FLIPSIDE MOVIE EMPORIUM
Yes, I saw it this past weekend. And yes, the reviews don't lie.
It is so bad, it's funny. Just like House of the Dead, Uwe Boll's previous movie, also based off of a video game. The scary thing was, that the people who sat in the theater for the whole thing actually took it seriously, which amazed me. No cat-calls, no yelling at the screen, nothing. This is the kind of movie that practically demands that type of treatment. And on top of that, it really wasn't all that gory.
Oh well.
Go see it though, because the trailers that they play before it are a riot- especially the trailer for Rob Zombie's The Devil's Rejects If after watching that trailer you are not reminded of the horror/exploitation/B-movies from the 60's and 70's, then you are dead to me! :P The trailer was so over the top, they're already guaranteed another $8 from me when that film comes out. It would be fun to go see that film en masse.
I <3 bad movies!
Can you tell?
