From Work- Still no power (sob), working on WRNE!, and relocating Kali (temporarily)

Came home last night to find that once again, we still had no power. I aired out the house, cleaned up a bit, collected the dirty laundry, Nara, my bristol boards, the scanner, my little eMac (Kali), and packed them into Chi-Chi (my little green bug) for a trip to mom's house. Her cable wasn't back yet (she's got a cable modem setup) so no internet, but i'm not complaining!

I took it easy driving down, since I didn't want to bang up Kali on the way to moms, so it took a bit. Got there eventually, and set up/started laundry. Managed to get some coloring done for N&J (JOY!), which makes me happy. Scanned a ton of stuff, too. I still have more to scan in, but i'm not too worried. Went back home with clean laundry, and Nara was a good girl. She didn't try to steal my plush walrus from the dash, or my plush flower from the bud vase. She just alternated between sticking her nose in the air vents to get the cold air coming out and curling up in the front passenger seat to sleep. It felt like the temperature was dropping as I went to sleep. In the morning I was pleasantly surprised to find out a cold front had moved in bringing with it chilly air! :D

I'm now at work flipping between plugging away at my novel, WRNE!* and doing actual work-work. May update later, may not. We'll see.

*WRNE!= WORST ROMANCE NOVEL, EVER! - just in case the abbreviation wasn't clear. :)
