I have been pretty busy as of late, hence the silence on this journal. Today, Justice Stevens is paying a visit to the university. Apparently he's planning to stop by the law library while he's here. But he's heading to the main library on campus first, so both the library (and law center) seem emptier. He's lecturing over there at 11 a.m., so I expect the students not in class will probably dwindle further.
In preparation for the first print run of N&J, I've focused most of my effort into churning out the revamped pages for Ch. 1. It's been somewhat of a nightmare, but the end result has been that these new pages are stronger (in art and layout). Ch. 1 came out at a time where my effort was split 90% / 10% between my studio work and the comic, and it shows. Because of page layout, I know I will have to change a *few* pages (cringe) of Ch. 2 because they're landscape format, or like this page, a long scroll-down nightmare waiting to happen. So yeah, what we were originally planning on getting to the printers in January now looks like February or March. Sooner than March, i'm hoping.
