Halloween leavings.

unsigned and I went out to pick up some supplies for the house at the local gigantor Target. The place was pretty empty, though we'd occasionally see a costumed kid with their parents while we made our way through the store. It being Halloween and all, we made a beeline for the Halloween section to see if the decorations were on sale yet. Apparently, someone in marketing decided to skip over Thanksgiving, and plow straight on into Christmas- because that's what they were gearing up for when we got there. The Halloween section had been pushed off to a small area near the front of the store, still at full price. So no luck finding cheap(er) decorations for next year.
I did find a bundled collection of the first three Alien movies for $20. I love the first movie (two was fine, three was ok, number four was more like an 'eh'), so I picked it up.
unsigned picked up a copy of Monster House, since we'd both wanted to see it, but missed it in the theaters. We ended up going out to eat, then heading back to the house. We didn't see any kids in the neighborhood out trick-or-treating though, which was weird. While there are a lot of senior communities around where we live, our development is pretty young (resident-wise). So it was a bit odd, not seeing kids out.
And I think I have found something i'd love to do sometime in the future, when i'm able to- take a ride on the phantom Paris Metro! :)
Back to work now.
