I am stuck at work today, until 3:30. :(
Nara is recovering from her surgery on Friday (we had her fixed). She's probably still trying to take off the pink cone that's around her neck. I bought one of those neck/collar cones so that she wouldn't try to rip off her stitches. I also picked up a bottle of dog aspirin (who knew they had suck a thing?)- but it doesn't seem to help all that much. I should take some photos of her with the cone for posterity, but that would mean getting batteries for the camera. Which I always forget to pick up. You can tell that she's uncomfortable (and itchy) when she desperately tries to scratch herself on anything. We take turns scratching the area around the stitches gently, and that seems to help. The stitches come out the week after next. Hopefully her itching lessens before then.
